About Us
Nature’s Schoolhouse is a PK–8 hybrid microschool in Cedar Park, TX, offering structured, educator-guided academics in a flexible, part-time format. Learners attend three days a week for focused academic support and community connection. Families can also opt into our hands-on Monday enrichment program, featuring outdoor exploration, creative projects, and collaborative learning.
With just four days on campus, afternoons and Fridays are yours to explore, connect, or homeschool your way. It’s a better balance for modern homeschooling families: structure where it counts, freedom where it matters.
Two Hours of Focused Academics. That's All it Takes.
Learners tackle their core academics in just two hours of focused online sessions, mastering material far more efficiently than in a traditional school setting. With no wasted time on busywork or transitions, they’re free to move at their own pace—without the burnout.
Studies have consistently shown that just two hours of focused academic learning per day is enough for children to make strong academic progress, especially when the learning is personalized, self-paced, and free of distractions. It’s not about how long kids sit at a desk—it’s about how effectively they learn.
Our experienced Guides walk alongside each learner, offering goal setting, planning, tracking, and meaningful mentorship. They provide emotional support, academic coaching, and accountability, helping kids develop into motivated, self-directed learners who take ownership of their education.
After academics, kids get what they really need: two hours of outdoor play, imagination, and movement—climbing trees, exploring nature, playing games, and just being kids. With over five acres of open space, our schoolyard becomes a natural playground where curiosity, creativity, and friendships blossom and flourish.
Our four-hour day strikes a powerful balance: structure where it counts, freedom where it matters. Afternoons are yours to pursue passions, dive into enrichment, or supplement in a way that fits your family’s goals and rhythm.
Families can join us Monday through Thursday—with core academics on Tuesday through Thursday and an optional Monday enrichment day filled with hands-on learning, exploration, and connection. Fridays are left flexible, so families can explore other programs, enjoy a long weekend, or homeschool their own way. And because learners have 24/7 access to their online curriculum, they can learn anytime, anywhere.
